About us

Who we are

We are a team of legal professionals, researchers, educators, and activists, committed to the search for peace and justice through methods of democratic, communal politics and law.

We do so by communicating and raising awareness about human rights violations committed against Kurds in the regions where they live, with a particular focus on the situation of those deprived of their liberty.

Supporting action in favor of prisoners of conscience, particularly women who face specific difficulties in detention, and developing meaningful relationships with associations, NGOs, European and international organizations.

Our approach

Our Mission
We aim to support processes for peace-building through the political and just resolution to the Kurdish question.

Through legal advocacy on topics of human rights and the rights of prisoners, support for grassroots, communal democracy, and raising awareness at the international level, our mission is to contribute to these crucial issues.

Our Vision
Women and youth lead initiatives for peace and justice in Kurdistan, as well as the broader region.

Women and youth have long been at the forefront of efforts towards peace, democratization and justice in our societies. In a changing world, it is crucial to center these voices in building alternatives to conflict and in the pursuit of justice.
